| Some of the pictures don't fully load... Only halfway, particularly the sentients that live there, so I'm not sure what they look like. Anyways, is there a template for the creature's anatomy that I can follow? Like a really basic design? And just for easier access... - TemporalV01D wrote:
- Here follows a list of life forms we still need / would be cool to have:
Blue ones are taken by me, green ones by other members and gold ones are done.
-Fast aerial mount (that's related to the Sieran Vampire and looks tropical) -Fast terrestrial mount -Fast aquatic mount -Something that can shoot stuff (mainly excretory goop) like a human cannon or gun (like the Felland Runner, but with bigger guns) (Taken by Xeno) -Cobra/rattle snake combo thing -Tiger/wolf/thing (that hunts in packs and eint that big, probably related to Sieran Blackhead) -Tiger/wolf/thing (that lives solitary - is closely related to above) -Bird things, mainly tropical, potentially related to the Sieran vampire or Lichen's new blobby-winged orange thing -Mano-war-like-jellyfish-things (Taken by Xeno) -Primate-like things -Flamingo substitutes, probably related to the aforementioned bird-things -Antelope substitute -Massively huge shark substitute that looks scary -Otter/rat substitute with a sneaky otter/rat feal -Some kinda shallow ocean fish that hunts in packs -Some really, really, really big grasing animal -Zerg-looking things that live in the water -Stringray substitute -Floating sky-jellyfish related to the aforementioned manowar-thing (Taken by Xeno) -Reed-looking worm things -Horse substitutes (Done by Xeno) -Venus flytrap substitutes -Tentacle-tree things -Some plant that makes fruit whose shells become cup-things -Plants that produce normal fruit -Slug-like moss/fungi -Mushroom jump-pads!! -Tiny chameleon sub. -Flat topped jelly-fish like things, related to the aforementioned jellyfish-things, that act as lillypads -Dragon sub. -Three, six or nine legged starfish sub. -Colourful luminescent living crystals (Taken by Xeno) -Colourful crystal trees (Taken by Xeno) -Ore stones, mainly iron, used in mass by Iga'vi -Some explosive plant or bug or something. Just some living explosive that can be used -Mongolian deathworm type deal, related to that scary-mouthed green/black snake thing with the three tentacles, that lives in a sandy desert and eats big things -Some wheel-shaped thing. They move in packs of rolling wheels -T-Rex sub related to the Diceratops (Taken by Xeno) -Reeds that make pipe-organ noises and can be used as flutes -Stereotypical jungle vines that are actually epicly long worms -Rhino sub (Taken by Xeno) -Scorpion sub -Savanna grass/wheat sub -Living rocks -Camel subs (I coulda sworn I added this to the list... ) (Done by Lichen)
If any wishes to make one (PLEASE do), I'll PM you the specs.
Things that must be fixed:
-Some creatures must be fixed. (Eg. The Sand Scorpion (mouths), Xeno's "Fat Horse" (antennae and exhailation pores), etc.) -Pics with white backdrops must be reposted with the required invisible backgrounds. -Pics with uncentered creatures must be retaken. -Outstanding encyclopaedia pics must be done. -Sheets must be filled out. -Species must be taxonomically reordered.

| There is for only species of a certain class. The rest, you just try to make them look like the species related to them.
http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/59735.page Somewhere in the first few posts there is a guide to making creatures called "Duos". You could start by making one of those. |

| Got one done. Hopefully it's done right... Male: Female: Author: Astrolizard2000 Species Name: [Pending] Native Name:[Pending] Human Nickname: Photalope Taxonomy: Life --> Imperia --> Disymmetra --> Ferecorda --> Duososida --> Spinaeantennae --> [Pending] --> [Pending] --> [Pending] Location:[Pending] Habitat: Open plains Diet: [Pending] Special Anatomy: Description/Uses/Other: This antelope like creature can race across the landscape at very high speeds, leaping and sprinting at speeds of nearly 40 miles per hour. Its bioluminescent spots are used in threat displays, as well as to confuse predators. The sheer number of creatures in the herd, all glowing brightly, can confuse most predators. At night, this tactic is heightened to the point that the landscape can appear to be on fire. Males have additional bioluminescence on their heads and crest, which are primarily used in territorial disputes over land or females, and their front 'claws' and antenna can be used to inflict potentially fatal wounds, either on rival males or as a last resort to save itself from a predator. The natives see these creatures as the suns' offspring, believing that their bodies are filled with the star's fire. In general, they respect them and rarely ever hunt them. |

| As far as I know, that is a pretty good Duos and fits the description well.
And, if you could go and comment on the Sporum Newlife topic I'll give you a nonexistent cookie. |

| COOKIE!!!! Thanks. I think I've got the idea of the basic anatomy. Its when it gets into more specific groups that it starts to get more complicated... |

| Welcome, Astrolizard2000!! ^^
And nice Duos, I believe.
Okay, here's the thing. I'll devote tomorrow to the Duos. I've recently worked out their anatomy to the most fundemental details, such as organ structure. I will also upload a family tree of the Duos whereon I will attempt to place every Duos species yet created, thus giving a clearer view of Duos evolution, allowing for the creation of creatures that more easily fit into the evolutionary picture. |

| Indeed.
I'll also upload the pic of a new creature I made in MS Paint (no Spore on my mom's laptop). It's sort of like a living hoverboard. |

| Here it is: It's called a Sand Glider ( Cor'vello, by Xen'vi). It's a bit larger than the average snowboard and is found in desert areas. It uses power bio-jets (as does many other Novusvitan animals. We have to design the jets eventually. I already have a rough idea for how they could work) to propell itself forwards through the air. It can go pretty fast and evolved this means of transport to traverse fast distances in search of water while carrying its often numerous young on its back. When not flying, it slithers on the sand or rock in a snake-like manner. It belongs to the Vermisida class, allong with most non-Duos Disymmetra we've made so far. Oh, and that weird flat thing to its right shows what it would look like from behind, minus tail and feelers, to give you a better idea of its shape. |

| We should really make this more neat. Maybe even divide it into different threads depending on different levels of taxonomy and such. I dunno. We're gonna need a pretty big overhaul for this.
Oh, then the name changing. Good lawd, we'll have to edit every bloody Zen'ji name for the animals to make sure they make sense. |
